In a time where the digital is completely taking over our lives, the mental wellbeing of our children is seriously being jeopardized. This is something very particular to our evolution, something we cannot seek reference in the past for advice. What did we do when we didn’t even have (the idea of) screens around? We got bored and? well we just didn’t have a choice…. So we went on Imagining, creating, asking stories from our elders, singing, playing music, sports, simply observing our environment and finding solutions of our own!
We are responsible for our creations, which means it is crucial to empower our children to take control of their time spent on/off the screens and with/without Nature. This responsibility calls in us much more creativity and available time than we often have. And that is reflecting in us what society is doing to our creativity and time available for our own children… (why do we make children if it’s to push them away at every corner of our busy schedules?)
What are your priorities? What do you truly care for? What will you look back and smile at when work-life will be over?
It is not only a reconnection with Nature, but also an empowerment to know that All around us is meant to help us!
